About the Celebrating Ordinary Moments Blog

Mission Statement
Thank you for checking out my blog. I started this blog to create a place where people are able to find inspiration and share ideas. I find myself surfing the web looking for inspiration that is unique and different. If I find an interesting tutorial I'll share it with you. I will include a "live" link back to the original blog, store or web site so that you may have the option to visit and learn more about the designer and other services, class or kits they may offer. By posting tutorials I am hoping to help inspire people that are interested in creating something fresh and new.

Recipe Card Mini Tag Album

by Brenda Pinnick

Here is a project idea for sharing recipes. I made this with a basic, brown paper over sized tag shape as the base. I used a bit of sparkly gold pigment ink over the whole thing. Then, I used a chipboard alphabet set to spell out "my fav" because this is my favorite chile AND it fit nicely in the space! Chili_tagfront_bp_3
and here is the back side, where I've divided the recipe into ingredients and directions.

Every time I make chili, my family says "ugh", accompanied by a facial expression that's somewhere between sad and an outright sneer. AND....every time they've finished eating it, they ALWAYS say, "Mom, that was the best chili you've ever made" EVERY TIME! and then they all have seconds. WHEN WILL THEY EVER LEARN THAT I MAKE GOOD CHILI!
