About the Celebrating Ordinary Moments Blog

Mission Statement
Thank you for checking out my blog. I started this blog to create a place where people are able to find inspiration and share ideas. I find myself surfing the web looking for inspiration that is unique and different. If I find an interesting tutorial I'll share it with you. I will include a "live" link back to the original blog, store or web site so that you may have the option to visit and learn more about the designer and other services, class or kits they may offer. By posting tutorials I am hoping to help inspire people that are interested in creating something fresh and new.

2011 Graduation Gift Card

2011 Graduation Gift Card

I used Little Scraps of Heaven Designs
Grad Pattern Collection

Card design by Corrine Paul

I used the GIRL Grad Pattern and the Diploma Pattern

I wanted to make a CASH gift card. I used a one dollar bill to make sure I measured the right amount of card stock so that the top flipped down and the bottom flipped up.

placing the paper piecing right where I want it~

I inked the edges of both paper piecing and added some black at the bottom for contrast~

measure twice and cut once~

just what I wanted~

added the year and wha la FINISHED!!

Let me know what you think~
