About the Celebrating Ordinary Moments Blog

Mission Statement
Thank you for checking out my blog. I started this blog to create a place where people are able to find inspiration and share ideas. I find myself surfing the web looking for inspiration that is unique and different. If I find an interesting tutorial I'll share it with you. I will include a "live" link back to the original blog, store or web site so that you may have the option to visit and learn more about the designer and other services, class or kits they may offer. By posting tutorials I am hoping to help inspire people that are interested in creating something fresh and new.

Project #3
Under the Sea
Mini TP Roll Album

Past Freebie "Shell" Pattern by Little Scraps of Heaven Designs
http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/

Space for 6 photos w/4 pull out photo and/or journal tags

I paint the toilet rolls w/acrylic paint before I go to bed and let them dry overnight. I usually paint all I have at the time and plan more than one TP roll mini album design.

I choose coordinating paper, cardstock and embellishments.

Custom made flowers made for the cover.

I chose silk leaves and fibers with colors and textures for a "sea weed" look.

  21. Thank YOU so much!! You can Google Toilet Paper Roll albums and find tutorials and YouTube videos to help you make a few for yourself or give as gifts. Everyone has their own technique and style. They are QUICK, EASY and FUN to make! I may even have a tutorial somewhere on my blog that inspired me.

Would also make a GREAT kids project for your own children or for groups like Girl Scouts.

  33. You will need 4 toilet paper rolls to make one TP roll mini album.

HINT: If you need 1 or 2 more you can take a paper towel roll and cut it to the same size as the toilet paper rolls.

  42. I love how your toilet paper roll albums came out! I think of you every time I see a commercial for toilet paper on tv now, lol! I'm so glad to be a follower of your blog now, too!

  43. You all really have to try ONE TOILET ROLL mini album. Seriously, they take hardly any time and hardly any supplies cause they are so small.

If you want to make them even "cuter" sew the mats with zig zag, it makes the POP and it gives the mini an nice look. A few flowers and some ribbon and it is dressed up enough to give away. LOL

I think a baby album would be AWESOME!!

I also think that kids would have a HAY DAY with this and whatever they made would be CUTE!!

Have FUN and thank you for all you WONDERFUL comments. You have made my day and possibly my entire week!!

    THANK YOU!!!
