About the Celebrating Ordinary Moments Blog

Mission Statement
Thank you for checking out my blog. I started this blog to create a place where people are able to find inspiration and share ideas. I find myself surfing the web looking for inspiration that is unique and different. If I find an interesting tutorial I'll share it with you. I will include a "live" link back to the original blog, store or web site so that you may have the option to visit and learn more about the designer and other services, class or kits they may offer. By posting tutorials I am hoping to help inspire people that are interested in creating something fresh and new.

4 x 4 Mini Match Book Album w/ Tutorial

Album Design by Corrine Paul
Sun pattern by Scraptastical Kreations;

"Just Beachy" Title Pattern

I altered the Just Beachy Title pattern so that I am using the sun portion only for this project.

You can Google Mini Match Box Album Instruction/Pattern and you will find several different versions of this album. I made then several sizes but this is what works for me.

I cut one 8 1/2 inch long and 4 inches wide strip for the outer cover.

For the flips measure 1 inch bottom flap and 3 1/2 inch upper flap (title cover page)

Inside pages (shades of blue) are 3 1/2 inch long and 3 1/2 wide.
Photo mat (suns on white page) are 3 inches long by 2 3/4 wide.

I used a 1 inch circle punch and made 3 tabs. I put them on the 3 inside pages.
I printed nautical terms using different fonts and place a different one at the top of the five inside pages.

I inked all edges before assembling

I made a little sail boat for the front cover and tied a ribbon through the holes.
Top flap folds down and tucks into bottom flap like a match book.

Thank You~
